Vista Murrieta Athletics Weekly Recap
What a week for Vista Murrieta Athletics! Our Broncos put together an exciting week of competition, earning multiple victories across the athletic program and showing the effort, teamwork, and competitive spirit that define the Bronco Way. Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches!
Girls Golf
The Broncos had a fantastic week on the course, going 3–0!
  • Monday: Defeated Murrieta Mesa 241–326. Iri Chen led the way with a 37, followed by Kennedy King with 39.
  • Tuesday: Defeated Palm Desert 253–287. Wren Saithong posted the low round with a 37.
  • Wednesday: Defeated Chaparral 217–280. Wren Saithong led with an outstanding 34, followed by Iri Chen with 36 and Kennedy King with 39.
Girls Volleyball
Another strong week for Bronco Volleyball!
  • Frosh: Defeated Murrieta Mesa 2–0 and Chaparral 2–0.
  • JV: Defeated Murrieta Mesa 2–1 and Chaparral 2–0.
  • Varsity: Defeated Murrieta Mesa 3–1 and Chaparral 3–2.
Girls Tennis
The Broncos continued their strong play on the courts!
  • JV: Defeated Murrieta Valley 14–4 and Murrieta Mesa 16–2.
  • Varsity: Earned victories over both Murrieta Valley and Murrieta Mesa.
Football
Varsity Football delivered a thrilling finish Friday night!
The Broncos battled El Camino into overtime before Tyler Holman drilled the game-winning field goal, securing a 24–21 victory!
Our JV Broncos also competed hard against El Camino, falling 12–7.
Cross Country
The Broncos made their mark at the Grit and Grind Invitational!
  • Boys Elite: Finished 9th out of 22 teams.
  • Ethan Fitzgerald: 6th out of 102 runners.
  • Girls Varsity: Finished 10th out of 32 teams.
  • Odina Muhammadiyeva: 40th out of 164 runners.
Girls Flag Football
The Broncos finished the week strong with two victories over Murrieta Mesa!
  • Varsity: Won 27–7
  • JV: Won 7–6
Boys Water Polo
Our Broncos continued to compete and grow against tough competition this week.
  • Varsity: Fell to Great Oak 18–11 and Murrieta Valley 17–3.
  • JV: Fell to Great Oak 16–4 and Murrieta Valley 11–2.
Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches! From the golf course to the volleyball court, tennis courts, football field, pool, and cross-country course, our Broncos continue to compete, represent Vista Murrieta, and pursue victory with C.L.A.S.S.
